This website

The current public website does not include advertising pixels, optional analytics scripts, or application code that writes cookies, local storage, or session storage. Fonts and images are served with the site; we do not embed social-media feeds or third-party video players.

That does not mean visiting leaves no technical records. The hosting and delivery service processes network requests, including an IP address and browser/request information, to deliver pages and protect the service. Browser caching may retain site assets. Hosting security features can also introduce necessary storage independently of page code.

A hosting log is different from an advertising cookie. We do not show a cosmetic cookie-consent banner for tracking that is not installed. If optional storage or analytics is introduced, we will update this notice and obtain consent before activating it where required.

The website photo demo

The demo asks for camera access only after you choose a camera action. A photo and its preview are processed in temporary browser memory. They are not sent to SideQuestle’s server or saved to an app account.

Restart or reload the demo to clear its preview. Camera permissions are managed by your browser and device and may persist until you revoke them. Using the native camera or photo picker can leave an independent copy in your device’s photo library.

The SideQuestle app

The app is separate from this website. It uses device storage for sign-in/session data, preferences, cached game progress, and photos or pending submissions. Account-backed features also store data on the server.

Clearing browser data will not delete the app’s account. Clearing app data or uninstalling does not itself delete cloud information. See account deletion.

Your controls

You can clear website data and cached files, block cookies, and revoke camera access through your browser settings. You can manage app permissions through your device settings. Disabling access may prevent the relevant feature from working.

External sites opened from a link, including an app store or sign-in provider, apply their own storage rules. The Privacy policy covers our information handling, providers, and your rights.
